Why a full body workout?

A full body workout targets all of your muscle groups and this will burn more fat than split workout routines. Full body workouts also allow you to do circuit training.

Circuit training involves completing a series of different exercises without rest. After you have completed the exercises, you will take a brief break and start another circuit.

The number of circuits you can do will depend on your fitness level. A maximum of 2 circuits is needed. Adding another circuit could cause your workout to last over an hour.

Working out for over one hour can cause testosterone levels to drop and cortisol to increase. In this case, you would only be doing more harm than good.

The Full Body Workout

1. Squat
2. Bench press
3. Pull up
4. Deadlift
5. Military press
6. crunches
7. bicep curl

Peform 8-12 reps for each exercise. You will perform 1 set of each exercise and move on to the next one immediately. After the bicep curls, you can rest for a few minutes and begin another circuit.

I would not recommend that you use heavy weight as this can make you burn out fast. Remember that we are not trying to progress with our lifts here. We just want to burn fat, boost your metabolism, and preserve muscle mass.

For variety, I suggest that you switch out squats for jumping squats and bench press for explosive push ups on certain weeks. You can also do reverse rows instead of pullups if pullups are difficult for you.

With proper diet and this weight loss workout, you will see bodyfat melt away. Remember that your diet is the most important factor, but a good fat loss workout will also speed up the process. Stick with the plan, and you will have six pack abs in no time.

Bodyweight Workout

If you are someone with a hectic schedule, do not have time for the gym, and have no equipment, then a bodyweight workout would be a good option.

The good thing about bodyweight workouts is that you do not have to change or re-rack weights. The downside is that it is not optimal for building muscle. It is just enough for staying in shape.

This is what you can do for your routine:

Bodyweight Squat

Pushups

Crunches

Shoulder Pushup

Pull up

Supermans
