Muscle Building Tips # 1 Tracking your progress

When you are trying to gain muscle, you want to know if you are making progress. Here are several ways you can measure your results.

1. Strength gains

This is the most obvious way to see if you have progressed. Muscles gains are always accompanied by strength gains. If your lifts are going up, you know you are getting bigger.

2. Body measurements

You can also measure your arms, chest, legs, and shoulders to see if you are making progress. Use measuring tape to get your measurements.

3. Weight gain

Your weight can fluctuate alot depending on how much water and food you have had. So it is best to weigh yourself in the morning with an empty stomach.

4. Clothing

Also, look in the mirror. Clothes that used to be big, may fit tighter on you. If you have to buy a new wardrobe, you know you have made progress.
